(Hello everyone, welcome back to my blog).
Today I will be talking to you about my 2020 camp experience.
This year we went to Wainui Heights Camp.
Activities
The activities that we did were;
Tyrolean Traverse, Abseiling, Kayaking, Orienteering, High Ropes, Archery & Search and Rescue.
Tyrolean traverse is an activity where you had to go across a river using three ropes and other equipment.
Abseiling is when we climbed up a 15m tree and abseiled down.
Kayaking is when we went to the ocean and kayaked in the freezing water.
Orienteering is where we searched for little symbols throughout the whole camp.
High ropes is a rope course that we got to be harnessed and go through.
Archery was in a small archery ground and had big bows and arrows.
Search & Rescue was where an adult from your group was 'missing' and we had clues along the way to find them.
