Week 6 | Highlights

Aloha kākou apau,

Welcome back to my blog, I am very excited as we are back to school this week. It has been a very cruisy week because we have been catching up on what we have been doing during lockdown/isolation. I am happy because I get to see my friends and teachers again and we have caught up and shared what we did during quarantine. 

Positive: I get my friends and teachers and get back to a normal routine

Minus: I found it kind of hard to switch back to our normal timetable

Interesting: Our classroom setup and schedule has changed and is changing

Week 5 in Quarantine

Aloha everyone,

Today I will be sharing with you what I have been up to in Week 5 of school in quarantine.
Firstly, I am soo excited for Monday next week because... We can go back to school and see our friends!

Firework Experiment

I did a firework experiment for school and this is how it turned out:

Bring a Pet 

Today at 2 we have a meeting, and we get to bring a pet along with us! I am bringing my dog, Max, with me and he's a bit crazy so we might have to bribe him with a milky treat which is this dog treat

that my doggo loves.

Quarantine | Week 4 of School

Bonjour à tous (french),

Hope everyone is doing well, today I will be talking about what I've been up to during quarantine.
I have been doing lots of things to keep myself entertained during this pandemic lockdown.

Drawing/Art

I have been doing some painting, like I painted an L (for Lexie) to be a sunset. I have also been using this app called procreate, procreate is a really cool app where you can choose different brushes and textures. I have drawn lots of things and here is one of them:

Zoom

I have also been doing some zoom calls with my friends to keep me entertained, we just talk like we would usually do at school. And also my best friend and we play games together.

Mothers Day

Tomorrow for mother's day, I'm going to make my mum a cake. I have never made a cake before so I'm going to try my best.

Map Makers Race Book Review

Aloha Everyone,

Today I am giving you a book review about a book called, "The Map Makers Race" by Eirlys Hunter.

The main characters are called, Sal, Francie, Becket, Joe, Humphrey and (we can't forget their parrot) Carrot. The book is about a Race about making a map for a competition. There are lots of teams competing, Cody's Cowboys, Solemn Team, Monty's Mountaineer, The association of woman explorers, and most importantly, The Santander Family.

If I were to rate the book out of 10, I would rate it an 8. It was quite entertaining and I would totally recommend it! The book is really fun to read and it is good for people who like adventure books!
